Along with the water system, the Town operates a small wastewater treatment plant. Sewage flows in pipes generally downhill to a pair of ponds. Clean water flows back into Maggodee Creek. The discharge water and the creek are tested for quality according to state law. The Town's treatment plant handles about 30,000 gallons daily.
