The Town of Boones Mill is a GREAT place to do business! Our strengths include:

In 2008, the Town purchased a 73-acre industrial property for redevelopment. Several acres of this property has been sold to a local business as part of their expansion efforts. Additional land is available for future development which includes an existing pond and 250,000-gallon water tank.

The cornerstone of the redevelopment is the historic train depot, which is being restored as a museum and cultural center. The Town has partially renovated a 50,000 square-foot commercial building and seeks new tenants in the upper level.


Future stages may include hiking trails and a pond, larger mixed-use buildings, or an amphitheater for performances.
