Boones Mill is one the smallest towns in Virginia to use the council-manager form of government. The seven members of Council, including a Mayor, are elected in May to four-year staggered terms. Council appoints a Town Manager who leads the implementation of policy. Council meets twice a month. Public participation is always welcome.
Town Council meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6 PM at Town Hall and the 4th Tuesday of each month at 1 PM at Town Hall. All meetings are open to the public.
