Town Budget
The FY2025-2026 Town Budget was adopted by Town Council on May 27, 2025, at 3 pm. A hearing to gather public input on the budget took place on May 13, 2025, at 6 pm at Town Hall. The adopted budget is available below.
The Town of Boones Mill is committed to the responsible and transparent acquisition of goods and services. All procurement activities, under the direction of the Town Manager, are conducted in full compliance with the Virginia Code and the Virginia Public Procurement Act. The Town seeks to obtain high‑quality products and services at reasonable cost while ensuring that all purchasing actions are executed impartially and within the budgetary authority established by the Town Council.
At the end of each fiscal year, the Town contracts with an outside accounting firm to complete an audit of the past year's finances. A clean financial report certifies the Town's business practices are sound and helps affirm the Town's creditworthiness. Below are the reports for the past four fiscal years.
