Reservations for Use of Town-owned Facilities

Please review the information below before submitting your reservation request. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

Available Facilities


Town-owned facilities available for reservation include, but are not limited to:

  • Carter Park
  • Maurice Turner Recreation Area
  • Maurice Turner Trail
  • Picnic Shelters
  • Meeting Rooms
  • Railway Depot
  • Other Town-managed rental spaces


Rental Rates


  • Flat Rate: $25.00 per hour for all facilities
  • Rental time includes setup and cleanup


Additional Fees & Requirements


Depending on the type of event, facility, and use, the following may apply:

  • Security/Damage Deposit: $100 – $500 (refundable if no damage occurs)
  • Cleaning Fee: $50 – $300 (based on facility and use)
  • After-Hours Use: Events held outside regular business hours (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM) that require Town staff are subject to a 25% surcharge
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the event will be charged 50% of the rental cost
  • Insurance: Renters may be required to provide Commercial General Liability Insurance, with the Town of Boones Mill named as an additional insured
  • Portable Toilets / Handwashing Stations: When required, these must be arranged and paid for by the renter

Waivers & Discounts


  • Town-Sponsored Events: 100% fee waiver
  • Recurring Rentals: 10 or more rentals per year receive a 15% discount
  • Charitable Events: Events that benefit Town residents may be eligible for fee waivers, subject to Town Council approval

Town Review & Approval


The Town of Boones Mill reserves the sole discretion to:

  • Approve or deny any reservation request
  • Impose conditions or additional requirements
  • Modify, suspend, or revoke an approved reservation if necessary


Decisions may consider factors such as:

  • Past rental history
  • Compliance with Town policies
  • Payment history
  • Conduct at previous events
  • Damage or misuse of Town property
  • Safety or risk concerns

All Town decisions regarding facility use are final, and the Town assumes no liability for exercising this authority.
